Cuesic is the concept of conveying music visually. The nature of Cued Speech allows one to convey even the most complex lyrics and match the flow and rhythm of the song accurately. Cuesic Theory is essentially an extension of the same principles of music theory, only applied to the visual realm. Theoretically, one could produce a piece that is intended to be perceived in both the visual and auditory realms, enhancing the lyrical experience and conveying the physics of the music in terms of frequency and duration, yet allowing one to perceive both aspects of the same musical arrangement in the absence of hearing or vision.
The world’s first professionally produced cuesic video, “Go” Featuring Twista and cuers demonstrates how Cued Speech can change the way deaf people access music. Stay tuned for its official release.
